SG3 B STELLA GREEN grass grid is designed for ground reinforcement and stabilization.

It helps create a strong, durable, and water-permeable surface.

Recommended for:

• residential and hotel areas (grass and gravel surfaces);
• car parks;
• access roads and fire service access roads;
• garage driveways and garden paths;
• drainage systems around buildings;
• pedestrian and bicycle paths;
• outdoor sports areas;
• reinforcement of slopes and pond banks;
• campsites and golf courses;
• tram track areas.

Installation

The grass grid is not recommended for installation when the air temperature is below +5°C.

The installation itself is quick and easy. Thanks to the integrated connecting hooks on the edges of the grids, individual elements can be easily and securely connected to each other.

The most important factor determining the durability of the surface is a properly prepared base.

Base preparation and installation step by step

To install the grass grid correctly, it is recommended to:

1. Excavate the entire designated area.
2. Level the ground and compact it mechanically.
3. Lay geotextile fabric.
4. Add a base layer (crushed stone or other suitable material), level it and compact it again using a plate compactor.
5. Lay a second layer of geotextile fabric over the base.
6. Add a levelling layer (sand) and spread it evenly.
7. Lay the grass grids and connect them together:

• SG1 and SG3 models are connected using hooks;
• SG4 and SG6 models are connected using “Click” fasteners.
